At Ramanujan College, the commerce department facilitates the study of commerce to enhance familiarity and build expertise on different mantras required to succeed in the world of commerce. The courses offered by the commerce department provides in-depth analysis of financial accounting, cost accounting, business laws, corporate laws, business economics, income tax laws, financial management, human resource management and other related topics. In the wake of emerging professionalism the department prepares the students keeping a pragmatic approach. Students are given computer training on statistics based software. Formal academic course-work is geld with empirical education through a rich range of co- curricular activities.
